14 Overview of Project National Highway 150C (NH 150C) is a strategic National Highway in India, enhancing connectivity between Maharashtra and Karnataka. Starting at Akkalkot, Maharashtra (Km 0.000, Rampur village, NH-150E Km 99+800) and extending to the Karnataka-Telangana border (Km 203.100), NH 150C is proposed as part of the high-priority Surat–Chennai corridor. The highway is designed as a 6-lane, greenfield project under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), aimed at boosting connectivity to key economic centers along its route. NH 150C traverses Solapur district in Maharashtra, and Gulbarga, Yadgir, and Raichur districts in Karnataka, facilitating regional trade and mobility. The entire corridor is divided into four packages, with Package-IV covering Km 162+500 (Baswantpur) to Km 203+100 (Singnodi), spanning 40.6 km. This section represents a critical segment of the corridor, reinforcing NH connectivity and supporting economic growth in the region.
